When making a reservation, please note your dietary requirements and we will do our best to cater to it. Our menu contains allergens and is prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts, shellfish, gluten & eggs. Whilst all reasonable efforts are taken to accommodate guests’ dietary needs, we cannot guarantee that our food will be allergen free.
Our venue has both indoor and outdoor seating. Our outdoor areas have cafe blinds and heaters to keep you warm and dry!
If you need to change or cancel your reservation, please do so at least 4 hours before your reservation time to avoid a cancellation charge of $25 per person.
We provide 50% discount vouchers for the DFO car park at South Wharf. The car park is open 24/7 with 3000 car spaces available. Enter/Exit: Convention Centre Place or Munro St and Normanby Rd entries.
Yes! The venue is accessed via the South Wharf Promenade bridge.
We will endeavour to get your food to you in a timely manner, however, we recommend allowing at least 1.5 hours in case the venue is busier than usual.
The Boatbuilders Yard is located along the South Wharf promenade, directly opposite the Polly Woodside ship and over the bridge from the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Unfortunately, we do not have live music at this venue, however, our sister venue The General Assembly has live music every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Check out their Facebook page for set times here.

You are more than welcome to bring a cake! Please advise our team in advance if you would like us to cut and serve ($2 per slice), or, you can cut and serve yourself for free (plates and cutlery provided).
Yes, we are open on public holidays (excluding Christmas Day and New Years Day).
There is a 10% surcharge on weekends and public holidays.
